Simple Vinaigrette

  • Dijon mustard
    2 tsp
  • extra-virgin olive oil
    3/4 c
  • garlic (minced)
    1 small clove
  • ground black pepper
  • salt
  • shallot (minced)
    1 small
  • water
    1 tbsp
  • white wine vinegar
    3 tbsp

    Combine shallot (minced) and garlic (minced) and Dijon mustard and white wine vinegar and water in a large bowl.

    Whisk to combine.

    Whisking constantly, slowly drizzle in extra-virgin olive oil .

    Alternatively, place all ingredients in a tightly sealing jar.

    Seal, and shake vigorously until emulsified.

    Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper .
